When Mr.Vijay and his team approached us for a Golden Ratio Logo design for their Liquor Store, we gladly embraced the opportunity. It was a challenging task because they wanted a combined Logo that they can use on their facade sign board in big size and a part of the logo independently.
We studied the brand’s mission, vision, competition in the market and what other prominent Liquor stores are doing. We decided to play with the brand name ANTIQUES. Following the meaning we had a glimpse into the past. We developed a font style that is old and strong and sort of filmy. And we developed the icon out of the letter Q. The Q was morphed into an antique spirit bottle with a lid. To make it more interesting, we filled the pot with liquor. And we did all these within the mathematically calculated frame of Fibonacci. Together the icon and the brand name acted like made-for-each-other. That is the magic of golden ratio. It is aesthetically strong and pleasant to the eyes.
Liquor Store logos OR Wine shop logos demand special attention. It has to be smart, minimalist, memorable and different with a meaning.
